Inspector → **Motion** (Studio). **Transitions Mix** is everything this project may play. ![Mix dropdown and single-slide / multi-photo checkboxes](/files/SsneIlpxYlTNHHVVJBgz) **Reset Motion to Defaults** restores mix, checkboxes, and group settings. Slide order and durations stay. ## Mix presets Four moods, one full vocabulary. **Varied · Gentle · Playful · Dramatic** — every mix owns the **full** single-slide set; the preset only **biases** which cuts show up more often. * **Varied** — even share * **Gentle** — leaning Ken Burns, depth dissolve, reveal from depth, same-photo fan * **Playful** — leaning flip, slide, spark slide, sparkle wipe, flying card, swirl-in * **Dramatic** — leaning punch-in, spiral-in, accordion, swirl-in Picking a mix (or a **Look** chip) hands choice back and clears hand-picked checkboxes, then re-deals cuts. Changing the mix re-cuts photos whose current kind the new mix does not use; photos already on a kind it keeps stay put. Energy never clears your picks. Any change here → **Custom**. Style then says *Set in Motion* if you tick boxes by hand. ## Single slides One photo at a time — at least **one** box stays on. The checklist in the app (currently **17 of 17** when all are on — yes, you can run the whole deck). Each clip is 1080p from a real export; the player opens on the cover frame. ### Ken Burns Slow, unbroken lean-in toward the focus point — the quiet classic. {% embed url="" %} ### Depth dissolve The print swims up out of blur and settles square — softens automatically on a light stage. {% embed url="" %} ### Layers Ghost layers overlap on the hand-off — the outgoing print still faintly there. {% embed url="" %} ### Card flip Edge-on flip: fades in, turns face-front, exits in the mirror. {% embed url="" %} ### Slide rotate A Polaroid slides in from off-stage, glides, then slides out. {% embed url="" %} ### Spark slide The Polaroid skates in and off with a spark trail through the flight. {% embed url="" %} ### Sparkle wipe A glitter trail leads while the next print skates into place. {% embed url="" %} ### Flying card The card is tossed through 3D space. {% embed url="" %} ### Offset wash Split seat: sharp card at Photo Size on one side, wash opposite. {% embed url="" %} ### Punch-in An oversized smear rushes in, then punches past the lens. {% embed url="" %} ### Spiral-in The card coils in while the wash zooms in, then out. {% embed url="" %} ### Reveal from depth A slow push forward out of distant blur — the print finds you. {% embed url="" %} ### Accordion fold Closed bellows unfold while fading in, then fold shut again. {% embed url="" %} ### Contact sheet A bright Photo Size print sits on a dimmed grid of the same photo. {% embed url="" %} ### Same-photo fan One photo fanned in depth — sharp centre, soft dim wings. {% embed url="" %} ### Motion trail The print carries a diagonal motion-trail echo behind it. {% embed url="" %} ### Swirl-in The card spirals in and out; the wash zooms (it does not swirl). {% embed url="" %} **Spiral-in** and **Reveal from depth** take about five seconds to seat. Captions wait until the photo has nearly landed. Only **Varied** carries both in its bias; **Gentle** leans Reveal, **Dramatic** leans Spiral, **Playful** leans neither — or tick them in Motion. By Look: Clean, Vintage, Noir, B\&W, Golden Hour are Gentle; Cinematic and Crisp are Dramatic; Polaroid is Playful. Above roughly **93% Energy** they cannot play (boxes dim). If they were the only kinds checked, the movie falls back to Ken Burns while Energy stays that high. Once stills drop under about four seconds (\~93% Energy), mixes drop both for quicker cuts. See [Library](/build-your-movie/library.md#right-click-a-slide). ## Multi-photo Several photos in one beat — **3D Ribbon, Carousel, Filmstrip, Perspective Pair, Photo Stack, Scatter & Settle**. On/off switches. All six may be off for classic one-at-a-time. Unchecking one keeps its cadence settings and shows *Off — check … under Transitions Mix…*.
